SoDown Jacksonville Concert reviews
It was nice
"I found this performance a bit lackluster, but I love SoDown. I am not sure if it was just a bad day for him or possibly that my "humor-bone" was not functioning.
I am not sure if the show did not start punctually @ 8pm (it was probably ~8:15pm when he showed up on-stage) was a planned "thing" as the "look-a-like" in the audience ~ 15 minutes before. I thought that was a cute variance from my expectations and if it was not planned - maybe they should do that more often :-))
I did not find that he engaged with the audience as he does on Real Time and he did a few jokes that I have already heard on Real Time. I know that this is probably common practice with entertainers as I know that many singers will do the same spiel over and over and of course sing the same songs.
My seat was great - I got a seat just a couple of rows from the stage (the right orchestra row g is really just 3 rows from the stage) which made the excitement even better. The theater is absolutely beautiful and I could not get enough of the great old architecture. I would definitely recommend the show but just be prepared that he many not be talking to "you" as he does on TV."
